K-5II/s New "Urgent" Firmware V1.06

It seems that there was a major bug in the last firmware, so an urgent update is needed. The bug is not told, though. I have also seen quite some users of other Pentax models reported about strange phenomenon since the last recent updates for their bodies. So, it would be wise not to do the update if you have other newer model(s) but not yet, until the actual problem is told clearer, my humble advice!

It's probably fixing a bug with high battery voltage hang up, introduced by 1.05 in some cases.

Thanks RiceHigh, as usual I've held off updating until I'm sure it won't create a new problem. When I'm sure this won't create yet another problem I'll update it, then Apple's iOS.

Since ricoh took over the software team has been rather neutered and diminished.

When it comes to software and firmware updates the Japanese really suck they are brilliant at hardware but.
