What is holding you from stopping to look at Pentax and go to whatever you like? Spend happily you money elsewhere or not, while saving the obvious "blabla BS" about DA 560 you'll never have or even try...

Very much so! DA60-250 and FA*400 has to do for practical reasons...Now, where is that new AF1.4x teleconverter...

The DA560 has no sexyness, looks like a cheap telephoto lens from ebay, you know what I mean, Beroflex, Walimex and stuff. The look of the old Pentax lenses was like it should be for a pro and expensive gear.

The ridiculous price on the DA560 telescope design has only increased the value of the FA250-600. One just sold on ebay for 9999 australian dollars.

Ya we know, and another for 6,000 USD 2 month back. Do you REALLY need it? Not only it's heavy, it needs an additional heavy gear to support it and excellent technique as well, to get some good results. Have a Pentax 1000/8 in K mount and it's a "beats" to use :o)) ... Fun though...
