Screen Captures of New K-1 Features of FW 1.4



I have failed to capture the red screen as the HDMI port just doesn't output it, but only with normal video output signal for all colours, even when the red screen mode is turned on. :-(

I have tired bulb mode with 10s. After 10s of exposure, i waitd another ten for noise reduction. I did not see counting down od this time, strange. After that time, LCD screen does not work, only gps led was lighting. Turning off and on camera does not help, led of gps was still lighting if camera was off. After removing the battery, camera was working again. Strange. I can not recrate this issue again.

Kind of sad that they couldn't fix the white dots issue with this patch. At least they fixed jpeg but that's not much help for Astro shooters. Also still no option for mechanical SR in movie mode. For the love of God Ricoh just do it already!

Does the extended time mode in bulb have mirror lockup?

Yes, the MLU mode is supported in the timed Bulb mode.

Zos I've never saw them working as hard as today. It is 4th version of soft in one year. I heard that best for white dot now is Capture One. I use it now as it is much faster than LR and give much better colors.
