Japanese DSLR Sale Results in 2018

Number of Pentax DSLR bodies sold in the Japanese home market in 2018 was in a 3.1% share. Compared to the previous years' results (4.2% in 2017, 4.8% in 2016, 6.7% in 2015 for Pentax), this down trend should continue. :-(

Especially since there's no reason for a trend turnaround in sight. Without that, every three years, the business shinks by more than 50%. For how long will the Ricoh Corp's "big bosses" tolerate this, and what are they going to do when they don't tolerate this any longer?
