But, I just wish to ask: How and what does these painted "new" bodies help Pentax and her fans?? :-(

Update (Feb 25): The K-1 II J Limited Special Site is now online (in Japanese only). It is mentioned that the golden lens mount is coated by Citizen Watch Co. with its "Duratect" technology. The wooden grip and its paint are also briefed.

I don't think Pentax know who their customers are. By now, the younger ones probably upgraded to mirrorless technology already years ago. The ones still remaining are probably mainly older men who don't want to change anything in their life. The design is as if for teen gamer nerds though. Such cameras won't appeal to the old, remaining Pentaxians.

They know who their customers are. It is Japan. Often people whine about pentax forgetting that the main market for that brand is Japan, and even there, it's only a ~3% of the total DSLR market..... the rest of the world is a tiny tiny percentage of customers. That's why they've been doing their "weirdness" for many years without caring about the rest of the world.
