Actually, I am just too young to buy and own those Asahi Pentax gear ;-) My first Pentax body was the SFX.

I find the history just as interesting as the "hardware". I certainly don't collect that either. Although the bodies from that time are masterpieces. For me it starts with the Super A, Camera of the Year 1983 (LX unfortunately was too expensive for me).SFX unfortunately never purchased, but the MZ-5.
