It is not to start a flaming war about the brand but just to voice my comments after my recent purchases of some old cameras from other brands, including an A77 (Sony) and a D700 (Nikon). I am a Pentaxian myself and I still own 3 Pentax cameras and a few lenses. These old DSLRs from other brands are now so affordable, and in terms of DSLR technology and colours, they match and many times surpass that of the current offerings from Pentax. Speaking of ergonomics and designed for photographers' use, they are all right up there too arguably. One of Pentax key selling points (at least to me), is affordability. This, to a great extent, is being neutralised by these old DSLRs. There must still be a sustainable market for new DSLRs or else Pentax would not have released the KF. What new offerings are being cooked up by the Pentax Management in their board room? B/W K1-II? Modernised KP?
