645Z and K-s2 TIPA Awarded

http://www.tipa.com/english/XXV_tipa_awards_2015.html

Everyone got an award anyway. And, I just wonder why the K-s2 is an "advanced" DSLR whilst the D5500 is an "entry level". They are direct competitors in the same market segment and price tag range afterall!

Btw, here is an YouTube direct comparison review of the two, for those who are interested:

The K-s2 has a penta prism, front and rear adjustment as well as a sealed body - imho that puts it in another class.

But its build is so cheap to make it "advanced", do compare to the K-5/K-3 class.
K-5/K-3 is pro/enthusiast grade camera - highest in line-up. If you looking for equivalent of D5500 in Pentax line-up, try K-S1, so K-S2 is advanced. Rice, you really should know this after all these years of hatred for Pentax :-D

Nikon has too many models, and their offer is confusing. Pentax approaches things with more sincerity and simplicity, so K-S2 is more advanced than Nikon's entry levels, and has features than even Nikon's higher end cameras do not have.
Pentax offers best crop cameras, best value for money, hands down. K-S2 is Pentax most complete crop camera ever — it even beats K-3 in some features, and therefore K-3II will come out to address that.
Even the K-S1 is also a "advanced" camera. I use both K-5IIS and K-S1. However the K-5IIS has a better pro-feeling. It is another class. I never used K-S2 but I think it feels better and with K-S1 comparable results.
