Looks like Pentax is benefiting from Ricoh and now they have all kinds of motors...SDM, DC, PLM. How different are they?

This is a new KAF4 lens with electro-magnetic aperture. How does it benefit still photography?

If I got it correctly, this lens gives more benefits to video shooters than to photo.
