Again, another dark lens. Strange.
For 645 I asume :-)

From the AoV and image height data, it is just a 135 lens.
35-80 if it is small compact lens could be very interesting. DOF as f/2.8 on APSC. but with FF pixels. I also wait for something smaller than 15-30.
So 15-30 F/4 35-80 and 60-250 f/4 will be very nice set

With 18 elements and measures 16cm shortest in physical length at 35mm, this is just a GIANT lens!
Size is like for 645 frame lets check:
Half angle of view: 31.9 – 22.9 – 15.0 mean FOV; 62 - 46 - 30
I checked Database from FA 645 lenses
HD Pentax-D FA 645 35mm F3.5
645 Digital: 76 ° / 64 °
645 Film: 90 ° / 77 °

For FA 35-80 lens
Full frame: 63-30 ° / 54-25 °

So it is definitely FF lens.
The image height of 21.64mm is not enough to cover the cropped 645 sensors, too.
Patents, gentlemen. Just patents.

And if you want the lens, Patience, just Patience! Because Patent to production can take forever if you are anxious!
yeap it could take forever.
What I wait for is nwe line of FA limited with new coatings. FA 31 and 77 have much more purple firing than FS 24-70 @ simlar setup.
I also want to see 31 43 and 77 marks on Pentax (if relevant) zooms not only standard 24 35 and 50 or 70. @ DA 60-250 there is 60 85 etc.
I want an FA* 85/1.4 DC/SDM WR, built like a Limited.
The idea with the 31, 43 and 77 marks would be a smart move, for several reasons.
