A French Measurbation Site (Pentax Mainly)

Here we go measurbation again! Endlessly!

Well, I guess the author of the site just don't take any real-life pictures since he just had no time to do it at all after all those measurbations and publishing all his tests, just like what I have been doing! ;-D

For information : the guy switched to Nikon some months ago.
But he still tests lenses for Pentax.

Don't worry, be happy... according to some posts on DP, other folks switched back to Pentax from Canon and Nikon when they got tired of lugging heavy "bricks" around.. people do that all the time, checking if the grass is really greener on the other side of the fence..... :o)

Lazare is a friend of mine, and What i can say, is that he's also taking real life pictures for the tests.
It's not only measurbation,so before saying stupidities, learn French...

This french site is really good IMO.
What I really learned these tests is that both the DA12-24 and the DA* 50-135 are awesome lenses matching most primes if not beating them.
I already have the DA12-24 and I concur with the tests: it's very impressive (except for CA) and homogenous through the whole range and tack sharp already wide open.
I was quite disapointed by the FA 77 ltd which seemed to fare rather poorly (maybe a focus issue?). I've been interested in the DA 70, FA 77 and 50-135, but now I think the 50-135 makes the most sense (except for the size).

Hello, it was not a waste of time for me to read these articles but a pleasure. Rigorous, clever and clear ! I would like more blogs like this to choose my lenses ... and waste my time ;-).
In particular its tests convinced me to buy the DA17-70 and after my own tests i sold my FA35 F/2 !!!
Furthermore, i learned a lot from its tricks for Pentax user ...
