Everything is in Japanese.

Besides, speaking of YouTube videos that I have embedded and linked to, last time I discovered that the YouTube server robot had automatically indexed many of my linked videos in a single summary page, for those videos that have been more popular amongst my readers, under my Blog name, here it is:-

So, my thanks to YouTube, that is an easy and quick reference for myself, also! :-)

I like the 30 sec. TV ad; it is very well done.

Watch the long video, the shooting work was professionally carried out.
Yes, again, very well done. They have designed a whole set, like Peter Jackson did for his shooting of the Lord of the Rings scenes.
I liked it too. Pentax needs to put ads together like this for the rest of the world. The Q is a good system that would serve a lot of people well as complements to their cell phone. Not everyone wants to carry around even a m4/3 sized camera. Below that there are enthusiast P&S cameras and the Q.

Very well done advertisment! I'm awfully sorry that there is no advertisment of such level for Pentax cameras in my country.
Interesting idea to use the cards.
I don't understand the Japanese: does the manipulations with the cards in film mean that Q7 is the ideal camera for illusionists or card tricksters? ;)

Just don't think too complicatedly, the cards shown are just the Queen, Ace (One) to Number Seven~ Actually, those maybe the last cards from Pentax to play! :-o

;) Thank you dear Rice for the answer: it help me understand that my knowledge of English is not so good to make me able to joke in English yet. ;)
At the same time I understand well the jokes of others.
Unfortunately, your great joke about the last cards to play from Pentax seems to be more as the reasoned opinion than as a funny joke...
I'm sure Ricoh has an ace or two left up their sleeve. I wouldn't count them out just yet. They invested a lot of money in the purchase of pentax and at the very least shareholders would surely prefer to see some kind of return.
Ricoh bought the Pentax camera division very cheap, nothing when compared to their photocopier business.

The 60 second spot shows the cards a bit better, (they're an entertaining visual showing the 7 cards Ace of hearts to 7 of hearts for the 7 lenses and a Face Card for the camera) the Face Card is actually a Jack of Hearts with Q7 written in the corner, (it has a mustache and it's a profile shot, often called a One Eyed Jack) much like a magicians slight of hand draws your attention away from the trick this commercial gets some to try to spot this, (the 30 second spot makes it harder to point out on a T. V. while saving time/money and not getting old hat as quick) the balloon popping brings your attention back to the T. V. Too! It was nice to see a company that doesn't advertise much do so well on a commercial, if they apply this I.Q. level to R&D they'll come up with a good answer for; What will attract customers who are willing to spend enough money to support the efforts of the R&D team? not How much do we have to lose on old R&D so the last half of our Pentaxians will buy items at clearance sale prices? Thank You RiceHigh, I too am still patiently waiting for a Pentax DSLR that will overshadow both my K-5 models but I don't want to rush to buy one of the $4000 Sony FF DSLRs coming out soon.
