DA55 looks sharper AND less vignetting! Cheaper too and auto focus. Win, win, win, win!

Of course the DA*55 is not a bad FF lens, but I love my Zeiss too. ;-)

I must say K-1's AF system is very accurate, so lens' ability is fully unleashed! :-)

I don't think that the Pentax is sharper. To focus correctly a MF fast lens on a DSLR you have to use LV . It is a better to use a Sony A7r which is a mirrorless camera with a 36 Mpx sensor to have an idea of the sharpness of this Zeiss .

thank you - the test is very interesting. You really did the test using the Crop lens DA* 1:1.4 55mm on the K-1 FF Camera??
I am astonished on the result. I have the same lens, but no K-1, yet...

I have the K-1 and the 55mm f1.4, but I can't correct the front focus problem with this lens on my K-1.
