Maybe Ricoh can buy Canon sensor instead, a K-1SR is coming! And this SR is not that SR. ;-)

K=1SR, goggled it and nothing?
I expect a possible higher end followup to the K-1 in the near future. From a marketing perspective bringing a low cost product to market that all customers that are willing to purchase will buy (pent up demand). Shortly after (that is in geological time when considering Pentax) come out with a higher end product that customers "that can afford and desire" will buy in addition to the K-1 they purchased. If the sequence of releases was high-end first the folks who sprung for the high end would have little reason to purchase the lower end FF. Considering Pentax's past marketing decisions the above is not likely to actually happen.

There was an issue with Adorama fulfilling the pre-ordered K-1's. I pre-ordered in early March from Adorama. They screwed up and did not send my pre-order in the first few days. I contacted Adorama and they said they had not recieved K-1's yet, that was BS. Two days later I saw that Adorama had them in stock on their site. I called and they said "Sorry" and sent the camera out a week later I received their "Expedited package" 9 days later after they shipped." I will not deal with Adorama in the future.

That's really too bad because Adorama is usually very good when it comes to customer service. They have won me over and I refuse to shop anywhere else if I can help it. If you quit going to every business after some minor screw up you would quickly have no place to go. Everyone makes mistakes.

I don't consider Adorama's screw up to be a "minor screw up".
I consider it a total screw-up that Adorama did not attempt to rectify.
Although everyone is not perfect, Adorama is less perfect than others.
Look at the bright side. You have your camera now.
I hope everyone will receive the camera "timely", it is a great camera!
