I expect a possible higher end followup to the K-1 in the near future. From a marketing perspective bringing a low cost product to market that all customers that are willing to purchase will buy (pent up demand). Shortly after (that is in geological time when considering Pentax) come out with a higher end product that customers "that can afford and desire" will buy in addition to the K-1 they purchased. If the sequence of releases was high-end first the folks who sprung for the high end would have little reason to purchase the lower end FF. Considering Pentax's past marketing decisions the above is not likely to actually happen.

I consider it a total screw-up that Adorama did not attempt to rectify.
Although everyone is not perfect, Adorama is less perfect than others.
