FA28 Vs DA35 Vignetting Test on K-1

https://www.flickr.com/photos/48733800@N06/albums/72157665925538734

Lens correction functions on distortion and vignetting, which are supported by the K-1 for the FA28, are disabled whilst for the DA35, it is not supported for any lens correction function in the FF mode of the K-1.

Well, how suitable are these lenses on the K-1 FF? Any how do they differ? I blog, you decide! :-)

I used on an A7 both my fa 28 2.8 and my M 28 3.5, without noticing an unusual amount of vignetting, and both with a good resolution. To be sincere I used the most on my A7 the M version, the differences in optics between the two were difficult to find at best, but the M version was more pleasant to use as manual focus due to the smooth manual focus ring! I am sure I will use the FA 28 a lot when I will move to k-1, as it's a sharp, small and light autofocus lens (and it happens to be also inexpensive!), and it covers my "normal" field of view! I can do nothing but recommend this lens!
Just had a look and couldnt tell without checking whether I was looking at the DA or the FA
I look forward to using my DA 35 on my K1 as well as my trusty K5 when I have saved enough.

Yes, the DA primes are "not supported" is a myth! :-(

Actually, only the three wide angle DA primes of 14, 15 and 21mm do not cover FF.
That's also what I found out. Of course, we cannot rule out the possibility that there is slight vignetting which the camera is correcting for, but after all, that would be a feature not a bug.
I'm very, VERY happy with my K1.

True, but FA43 > DA40, FA77 > DA70. FA31 > DA35...
I have all these lenses anyway, both FAs and DAs. ;-)
I would also compare my DA*55 and DA70 against my FA77 and FA*85 very soon. :-)
