Unlikely. Pentax did try Samsung and we all know now it was just a nightmare.

Can you elaborate? The Samsung was the sensor in the K-20, correct?

Poor sensor performance, quality issues, poor sales results.

Well that does not mean that Sony is now the only game in town. The K-20 is, how many, 9 years old?
