You are slow on the rumors these days. A new KP DSLR will be announced at CP+. Probably the K-3 replacement. Supposedly the factory in Cebu is hard at work on production. Regarding the Q it still exists on the japanese website. They sold a lot more of them in the east than the west so they may just discontinue it for the US market. As it is all service repairs have to be sent to Japan which isn't really ideal. It had its run and had been really outmoded by compacts with much larger sensors. That said, I still really want a QS-1 just for fun. :)

Single focus is absolutely acceptable and correct. So fixed focus.

If you're going to call it single focus then get it right & call it single focal length because that is what it is. Single focus sounds as if it has only one focal point!
