Btw, it is interesting to note that Nikon has been beaten by Sigma in lens sales. Sigma is really strong nowadays. They had really brilliant marketing, IMHO! Besides, Canon has taken over the 2nd place from Sony for the mirrorless market share, well..

Highest time, that the APSC segment doesn't get forgotten over the K-1.
Sigma has done well, due to their Contemporary and Art series. Well deserved.
Too bad that also they start to ignore Pentax K with their good new stuff. So we Pentaxians can only be jealous bystanders, rather than utilise Sigma's success for our own gear :/

K-1 body with almost no own lenses on market cannot draw customers from other brands and hard-core pentaxians with old lenses were saturated pretty quickly. Now they are offering several sales and cashbacks to sell these cameras, while everybody is buying D810 instead.
K-1 also canibalised already low sales of 645 system, as it is able to deliver enough resolution for some serious product/portrait/commercial shooters that left loyal to Pentax. This is the reason why we can see several 645Z cameras on ebay underpriced and being sold with lenses.. because users are getting rid of it. There still are no shutter-leaf lenses, hi-speed flash sync is still cumbersome and those few hard-core professional medium format users already have Mamiya systems, so they do not care.
K3II is obsolete slightly updated K3, which now is based on more than 5-6 years old marketing decisions. While others are pushing cameras like D500, Ricoh has nothing comparable.
K50 was a nice camera for the low price and Im sure it created a lot of money. But unfortunately it seems, that this profit was deliberately wasted on extra long K-1 development resulting also in huge gaping hole in K7/K5/K3... line.
Instead of proper K2 APS-C camera with some new DA16-50/2.8II with proper ring ultrasonic motor and without horrible CA, we have K-1 with rebadged and overpriced Tamron lenses with disabled VC and less than 1/2 of tamron warranty.
Who the hell is going to buy K-1 + 15-30 + 24-70 + 70-200 + 150-450 if he can get D810 + tamron 15-30VC + tamron 24-70VC + great tamron 70-200VC + great nikkor 200-500/5.6 for LESS MONEY... ? Not to mention selection of available fast lenses like 20/1.4, 24/1.4, 35/1.4, 50/1.4, 85/1.4 etc etc for Nikon.
Wake up Ricoh, Pentax is not Leica. Nobody is going to buy this in large quantities.
Zeiss abandoned us, tamron created last lens for pentax years ago and no new design is available unless called DFA, Sigma reduced portfolio of pentax lenses significantly and probably is going to abandon us and take care of others like rising Fuji.
We need proper K3 replacement fast, we need K70 to be cheaper. And we need lenses first before running into FF battle. We need at least NEW 24/2, 35/1.8, 50/1.4, 85/1.4 or 85/1.8 and 135/2 OR FASTER equivalents with affordable price.
