Pentax Q System is Aborted?

According to this Pentax Rumors article, the Pentax Q family of products have been removed from the Ricoh Imaging US website completely. So, does it mean that the development and marketing of the Q line has come to an end? Possibly it does, I'm afraid. :-(

I think nobody will want to buy even something else in this category from Ricoh, as nobody wants to invest into something which (again) will have a high risk to disappear eventually, due to little market share thus too little profitability.

Pentax customers might be still interested in a compact system camera with a metal body, excellent lens and very sharp / low noise sensor. But market share and brand awareness will be probably again the problem.
