645Z Appearance

Via: Digicame Info (in Japanese)

A pair of stereo built-in microphones can be seen. So, it must have the video recording function.

That video recording feature will make this already great enthusiast camera even more attractive to photographers, but before I'd drop large coin on one I'd want to be sure it's safe to assume both tripod mounts are over the nodal points for Pan & Tilt on both the D645 & 645Z.

Great 2 slot for SD-Card. So, the Pentax Flucard wil be able! Now, we are waiting for the price! 10K more or less? And what it is with the lenses?
Sony sensor? ....
Maybe it will be great? We will hope..

Apparently the price will be $8500-ish.

If so, that'll be it for plenty of other manufacturers. This will fly off the shelves (and help to) reassert Pentax's historical dominance of the medium format stage. It may even take sales away from the D800e(dsel).

Ricoh imaging Germany leaked online the detailed specifications of the Pentax 645z:

First I"ll wait for SanDisk's 280MB/s card to come down in price before I'll consider the Pentax 645Z.
No need for more than SanDisk Extreme Pro 32GB SDHC UHS-I 95 MB/s (SDXC and UHS-II are not supported), which costs a misery: €55 in France :).

Great! Now that you have this out of the way, make that full frame K-mount we've been waiting for over a decade.

Thanks! Loyal (& stupid?) Pentax supporter.
<irony>Now put a FF sensor into it and it will be the perfect camera, you can do ti Ricoh!</irony>

Not kidding, since I could not afford a 645D, I cropped my 645 FA glasses into a 135 FF by putting them onto my 5D3! :-P See:

I missed the chance to get 645FA glasses. The first 645D came out at that time and the prices got bid up too fast. I did get some good FA k-mount glass after last photokina when people were dumping it to switch because yet again there was no full frame. I suspect this year will be the same deal. People will hold on till September and then dump when yet again there is no FF in sight.
Don't need to look built-in microphone holes. Mic, USB 3.0, DC in and HDMI ports are positioned under the left rubber cover; seen on that.
