OK the Q7 can now become the Q5 16mp, so the K50 becomes the K25 24mp, k3 has 24mp, the K1 full frame has 38mp because the 645 has moved to 51mp, 16-24-38-51.

Ricoh is once again " A Day Late And A Dollar Short", this time with a camera nobody wants ( a medium format? for JPEGs and so-so home movies. If you want an entry level DSLR the K-50 is great, just don't tell me I can't buy a FF-DSLR or insist I lug this around instead of the Sony A7S.

P. S.
Don't talk as if you plan on buying one when you know you won't.
Dan, any modern mobile phone camera will satisfy your need. Why would you need to dig into deep Internet to comment things like this?
Besides my two FF cameras I like the camera in my mobile phone very much, the picture quality is great.

Bards, enjoy your cell-phone but don't tell me (in pigeon english) to stay ignorant so we'll be on an even keel.
You don't make any sense. Nobody wants? The cheapest yet best MF? If you don't like APS-C and can't afford MF, there are other companies for you, bye!
Congrats that you can actually afford APS-C! Lol..
What? i use 4/3 Olympus, APS-C Pentax and Sony and fullframe Canon, but I do not hate or love any of those formats, they are all great for different purposes. There are of course some new APS-C (and other formats) cameras that I may not afford at the moment, because there are other things than cameras in life, and I must admit, that I would go for the A7 for my next cam, but that does not mean I should bash APS-C format or Pentax market strategy like you guys...

No one will buy this thing. Not pro's. The togs I know dumped MF for the D800e long ago. As Dan says the A7s is the way to go for video.

It's cheaper than Phase One and Hasselblad, but it's old news this sort of camera now. Who wants big these days?

This kills D800e both in resolution and hi ISO. See first sony MF sensor reviews. There still are people who prefer better over smaller...
Yes, most mainstream users now prefer the larger FF than the smaller dated APS-C! ;-p
And with 645Z, FF will be even less, like the bacon of the sandwich, between APS-C and MF -->APS-C({fool frame})MF<--
Well, that is obviously a lie, check the APS-C vs FF sales. Most mainstream users still buy cheaper and smaller crop cameras. The FF dominates professional segment, where some pros will still benefit from smaller format cameras, but many from larger ones, and there is the place for the 645Z.
You'll be able to make wedding videos for imax. Your wife will be 75 feet tall.
I will so buy that one.

No love for the 645Z here but over on PetaPixel plenty of people seem to have the right idea and are getting behind the value prop.
Well, I was totally wrong about this camera and the amount of interest it would generate. I had said, who would want such a thing? Togs are lining up for it. My pro-tog friends (with money) who have never shot Pentax are now waiting for the 645z to be available and have suddenly taken a big interest in Pentax. Saying forget P1 and Hasselblad, go for the 645z, it's a bargain!
