K1 Viewfinder 0.7X 100% does this mean that the viewfinder is hardly bigger than the K3? 0.95X / crop factor = 0.61

The difference is quite noticeable already, ditto for 0.8x Vs 0.7x. The old Pentax mid-grade film SLRs like MZ-3/5 did have a 0.8x finder, despite they were really small and lightweight.

I checked on the Nikon D800 D750 Canon 5DIII they all are around the 0.7 so, the film days viewfinder will not return :-(
But at least it is a decent offer from Pentax ...

In contrast, the 645D/Z finder has an equivalent magnification at 0.91X when measured at 50mm FoV of 135 FF.
