I am SO waiting for a super-wide-angle fix-focus lens. I'm currently using the 8-16mm Sigma, but I'm not too happy with it. A simple 8mm would have done just as well. There's no need for a 2x zoom, IMO.
I think it's a fake... Or at least, if it's true I hope they would correct the "single focus lens" to "prime lens" or at least "single focal length"! What is a single focus lens? A lens usable only in hyperfocal?
Jokes aside if it's true it seems there will be a new series of primes: something like a 24-28/2.8, a renewed 50-55/1.4, an 85 1.8-1.4 a 20ish 1.8 (like the nikon) and a 17-28 fisheye zoom! That would be nice!

This one is real. Japanese' English is worse than mine for most of the time. ;-)
It is very plausible to assume that those new Prime lenses will be just the ones we know, e.g. FA 20/2.8, FA85/1.4, etc. with the new HD coating and SDM. And I think Pentax would be well advised to re-activate those famous old Designs. I, for one, would buy them all, even those that I already have, if t new ones are sealed and have quick and silent focus.

This ^^^^. Good post. Better than re-badging lenses you can already get from Tamron.
I have many of the old FA/F lenses already and no need to buy those new lenses. :-P
