New K-7 Firmware V1.03

It's official, of course. See:-

What's New then?

1. Now supports distortion and CA corrections for the FA Limiteds (31, 43 and 77);

2. Better algorithm for auto horizon correction (? - The English is not so understoodable);

3. Improved compatibility with some SD cards.

Still no firmware option to bypass the flaky SDM and select screw drive. Even though almost all DA* lenses still have the screw drive available. Big surprise Pentax. :(
And no manual video settings. Probably won't come for K-x either then. It's sad.
For number 2 "Improved usability by optimize the program of vertical position judgment." there was this bug:

Have the camera set on P and auto ISO, matrix metering. In horizontal orientation, meter a dim lit area so that the Tv value is under 1/15. Press the AE-L button, now the values are locked. Turn the camera in vertical orientation (portrait). Unexpected result: the exposure pair is modified by 1/3EV.

I don't think it has anything to do with the horizon correction algorithm.
I haven't verified it yet if it's still reproducible.

I wonder why aren't they improving the usability of the camera, like the option to center the AF point, top-LCD lighting on demand, AF iluminator consistency etc...
AF lamp manual control + manual control of video settings
Actually, you can do all that. You just need a secret code. They are hidden functions.
