Man, I have told everybody that the K100D is/was the best DSLR for the buck it cost. My dream would be a K100D with 10 Mpixel sensor...

There was such a Pentax DSLR already, that's called the K200D. If you just want a smaller body, it is the K-m.

Not sure where to post this but wondering if you've ever run across the K100D "clicking" issue? With no shutter actuation, no autofocus, and no info in the viewfinder. If you try and take a shot it just clicks quietly. Anything?

It seems that the machine is locked up for some reasons and you may try a complete system reset at the menu and see if it works again or it might be hardware problem otherwise.
