645D will be unveiled March 11-14th at the CP+ (Camera and Imaging Show). The site is under construction. The body is ready.

There might also be on display a new K-m2, DA* 10-16 F4ED AL SDM, DA* 20 F SDM and DA* 28 F2 SDM. Will see in a month...

You are absolutely right not to get too exited...

Just that dpreview's (informed) member living in Japan seems to cautiously believe this latest rumor looks for real (the 645D is practically official for 3/11-14/2010 show) and if we think of pre-release rumors about K-7, those were not far off at all.

Well, if the 10-16mm is available with SDM ONLY (as problems free 17-70), I would get one....It would make sense to use an excellent 11-16mm formula, stretch 1mm (makes a good difference at that FL), slow down a bit (lower CA, smaller/lighter) to be in decent price/quality balance. Simple and advanced WR for all new lenses would set H/P a part from capanaolynikons as well, to stay around for many years to come.

Again, will see in a month... BTW, always good to come back to your fun blog... :o)

If it'll hit the market then i'd have to say that hoya is doing just great with pentax brand... just wonder how much will it cost..
