K-50 Big Price Cut at Adorama

See what Photocritic refers:

A free 200FG flash and a 16GB SD card will be complimented. Note that the code you enter during checkout could be either "PENTAXJUNE" or "SUMMERSALE".

Btw, it seems that something new is coming, or the K-mount line is to be discontinued! ;-P

"...or the K-mount line is to be discontinued!" ©
Dear RiceHigh, why do you think so?! :-)

It seems that K-50 is to be discontinued as well as K-3. No sensation.

It is rumoured for long Ricoh has been planning a brand new system and mount and abandon the K-mount (and maybe also Pentax the brand for this new line) one-off.

Actually you are the bad newsmaker and sensation maker from some time.
The Pentax lens roadmap for 2014 (or later) just definitely show you that K-mount will be discontinued soon after
the whole stock of K-50 will be sold. :-) http://ricehigh.blogspot.com/2013/11/new-rp-k-mou...

Give us one sensible and plausible reason why Ricoh would pay Hoya $US125 million dollars for Pentax only for it to discontinue the K-mount and discard the Pentax brand just 3 years later? It's just stupid rumours and innuendo (mainly coming from this ridiculous blog and its spiteful owner).
$125M is nearly nothing to Ricoh. In fact the deal was damn cheap. Ricoh bought Pentax for its technologies and expertise in photographic equipment, but they do not necessary keep the brand name Pentax nor the K-mount.
It was official, even Ricoh senior officials told us that several times in their previous interviews already. Google and see other websites if you don't believe what are reported here.

Pentax and Ricoh officials told us many-many times in their previous interviews that they are "still working on to develop the Full Frame Camera" ©. So, dear RiceHigh, soon we will meet the new FF Pentax, won't we? :-)
Hope this will happen before the K-mount will be discontinued? :-)
They are still talking - somebody still believes...

The last time that senior official was asked about "how the FF work was coming along" he laughed. I have been laughing ever since I received my A7R.
Your photos must be quire shaky, then.
This kind of shit happens all over in corporate world.

HP bought Palm and WebOS and said they had big plans, they shelved everything, I think they paid... 1.2 BILLION dollars, and the company had WebOS for less 1.5 years.
K-mount is not to be discontinued, stop scaring people:/
