If that is your only Pentax right now I suggest you to not forget about either: K-50 / K-30 in close-out sale (and thank me later). That I mean IF usability is something you care about as much as to welcome significant improvements thereof :D.
Again, I do not say the K-S1 will be a bad camera - it will just not be any *substantial* upgrade for a former K-x / K-r / K-m / K-2000 user, IMHO. In my eyes, the K-S1 is "just" more of the same-old, same-old. As I mentioned before: with a slight twist in appearance.

Camera and mirror box are separable, if you pull it out sideways, you get a mirrorless APS-C camera.
