The Q is hardly winning the race for worst camera. Ironically the Hasselblad is the clear winner right now. I've seen some stunning work done with a Q, especially astrophotography. I do agree it looks like Hello Kitty went retro though.
Meh... Rice like always, he sees what he wants to see. This post shows the absolute lack of objectivity that Rice has since some time ago. For me, like Jimmy, this is the last time I enter this blog. I used to visit it a couple of times each week some time ago, but this has become an absolute joke. And I do not consider myself a Pentaxian, just a pentax user, I'm not very attached to any brand, but this blog has become a place of misinformation.
Wow the Q7 isn't even close to be voted by anonymous internet pixel peepers "experts" to be the worst camera of the year. That is a rather dishonest assertion to garner a reaction. Shame really.
Isn't it sad to see our Q7 on a list like that? I understand that the list was arbitrarily created and the votes are meaningless. People vote for their favorite brand or their favorite idea of camera. Oh well...
I bought my Q purely based on the impulse from the temptation of low prices. After I bought the camera, I hardly use it at all. I grab my K-01 as my default camera. My K5 is collecting dust too. To me, K-01 is abt right on almost everything about it. People have used it for a while seem to have the same opinion. I just hope that Pentax could continue to develop it as a system and make it better, smaller, faster....
Canon, Nikon, Samsung, Leica, Sony and Hassel are worst than Pentax now. And - according to Rice - Canon, Nikon, Samsung and Sony are the best of the best of the best (sir!) cameras of the world. Meanwhile on another well-known portal Pentax K-3 (with this ugly, low-quality and photography-unfriendly RICOH (!!!!) logo on it) is on leading in BEST DSLR CAMERA of the year race. But Rice didn't spot this. Rice can see only what he want to see. Once again - change the name of the blog: anti-pentax will be more appropriate.
Rice, considering there is a camera from each major manufacturer in that list just goes to show how pathetic and sad you have become by only highlighting the Q7.
