It makes sense to discontinue the K-m, since it was replaced by the K-x, but why would they discontinue the 50-200?

Apparently the DA 18-250 f/3,5-6,3 is also discontinued (same page as DA 50-200).

Although it was discontinued, it will still available for months right? because they still have them in their stocks.

Well, if you want one you better hurry up as they are getting harder to find.
Or you could wait for some replacement... maybe a DA 18-270 VC
