New Sony APS-C Sensor (16MP, PMAF Elements Built-in)

Via Sony Alpha Rumors (SR5)

So, with this new sensor, I am almost sure that new Pentax APS-C camera models will come, say, K-02, K-40 and whatever! :-D

Hmm interesting. What makes you so sure?

I am always sure for what I say! ;->
Sony has been innovative with their dslr's (interchangeable lens anyway) and doing it well. Started with mirrorless slt (single lens transparent (not reflex because no mirror that moves out of the way.)). Also EVF (evil by some, liked well by me vs. a cracker size lcd for live view).
I like the focus peaking on the Nex and A77 SLT. Very useful for shallow dof or macro work? Most likely.
This explains and shows it well.

The video doesn't say what aperture used. When I get an A77 I'll see what it shows with F16 or 22. (Or, uh, yeah, I could check it out at a store.) Perhaps nothing more than what the af sensors lock on.
