Pentax Body SR Would Have More Degree of Freedom?

Read this recently Pentax patent, the Pentax SR system is adding axes!

From reading the abstract and flipping through the description, it seems that this is an ordinary 2-DoF system (X-Y plane). The new thing here is a mechanical design that prompotes simplification and miniaturization of the mechanism.

Oh really? Do I miss something? Should I change the title of my this post to "Pentax is decreasing DoF of their SR system"? :-o (As if what you say is true, the Yaw has been omitted in this design!)
