Modding a K Body into a R Mount One

Watch this Video for how to do it:-

Wow, what a workmanship! :-o  Now, all the Leica lenses of that user can be mounted directly without any adaptor needed.

Nonetheless, I think the use of a Leica-R to Pentax-K adaptor (widely available) is still preferable, which is simple, not destructive and most importantly, K-mount lenses can still be mounted and used, unless that user decided not to use any K-mount lenses on his Pentax DSLR anymore! :-(

I prefer it the other way around:

The Leitax conversion is fully reversible and will not damage the lens nor the camera.

Even though I'm reluctant to spend 2 large on lenses for a Pentax DSLR that aint no Full Frame, I bought my Schneider 28mm f/2.8 PC lens and the Pentax K-mount seperately (they where assembled when I got them). I would like to get some more Zeiss lenses (15mm & 135mm), if I could put Pentax K-mounts on them and have auto-aperture, EXIF data, etc. It's safe to say nobody buys lenses as if money is no object (Leica), then uses nothing but them on a DSLR that's being cheap-sided (Pentax), for fear of losing customers who will not stand still while both FF & C-size DSLR cameras are made by the same company!
