I can make it for RiceHigh:. The truth is, those rebates are just a result of dropping Pentax sales. So PENTAX IS DOOMED (as it has always been since 15 years) ;-)

FF DSLR prices are coming down closer to $1500, in the meantime Pentax is planing to come out with a more professional (closer to $1500) C-size DSLR???

Yes it is, but the fact that digitalrev talks about pentax is the interesting thing. K5ii didn't receive much regard in blogs, media or reviewers outsidevthe pentax community. And why did they mention the k5ii, because of viewers request, not because it was pentax marketing (if its true what they say/write)
