Pentax Imaginations - Too Many but Nothing Ever Happened!

These are the recent imaginations:-

1. Pentax K-02 with an OVF:-

Via Mirrorless Rumors

But I think a $15 hotshoe-mounted external OVF will do the job anyway, see this of mine:-

Btw, last time I polled, there should not be a K-02 anyway, as it is almost well known that the "line" was killed.

2. A Pentax 135 Full Frame, see this weekend humour by the PB, which is well written:-

This is actually not a pure joke. Many of those statements were actually told officially by the senior Pentax officials in their previous interviews, quite recently or before! >:-[

I think you're right about the ovf and I think the k-01 would have been a more attractive second body or relatively inexpensive way of getting a digital body for your k-mount lenses (if you primarily use a different brand) but the lack of available evf or even focus peaking or hdmi during video recording really handicapped it.
#1 - That's the lowest kind of "viewfinder", barely usable for framing, previously seen in point&shoots. It's the same as putting that $15 "viewfinder" on the hotshoe, with the added benefit of having 1/3 of the frame blacked out (yes, the placement is terrible, but people photoshopping cameras instead of making real products don't care about such details)

#2 - that "joke" is not funny at all (the PF's 1st April K-3 wasn't, either).
The real PR FF, by the way, is not supposed to be ready for market yet; Pentax said end of 2013 or later.

Is that all?

L.E. I bet on "later".
