More Production K-7 Sample Photos (Full Size Originals)
Okay, let me make my first comments for what I can see then.
Yes, probably there was light rain when the pictures were taken.
The K-7 picture has more details and is sharper but also obviously it contains more noises, which are just visible.
The 20D picture has less noise, but it is not as sharp and as detailed. And also mind that it is of 8MP only, whilst the K-7 is in 14.6MP.
But then the K-7 is made in 2009 whilst the 20D was in 2004 or 2005? They are too far away in terms of generations..
Nonetheless, the K-7 picture has some moody colours as compared to the 20D's pic. Anyway whether which one is more faithful is yet unknown. (I like the 20D's colour rendition more.)
And the verdict is...
ReplyDelete*drumroll*
the K-SOFT! :D
I must admit that I don't really like what I've seen at 800 iso...
ReplyDeleteIs there a hope for those shooting raw ? Is this camera any better than K20D ?

ReplyDeletegood test photos
is there anything special about these pictures....?
ReplyDeleteThe ISO 400 train shot looks REALLY bad. Look at all that noise. It looks like there's more noise than picture in it.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, there is also a Canon 20D picture shot at the same time side-by-side with the same Av/Tv/ISO for us to compare!
ReplyDeleteThis is just crazy! Look at all this noise already at ISO 400!!!! I think they must be kidding us.
ReplyDeleteIs it rain or noise on that train picture ? I can't really determine.
ReplyDeleteRizwan yes a lot of noise :D
ReplyDeleteyes Canon 20D better :D LOL
Oh! come on guys it is rain. There is no doubt about it.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that the train pic was taken in the rain...

You are getting just what you deserve. I hope you are unhappy in every way imaginable with your new camera, so you can continue bashing Pentax.
ReplyDeleteEarly adopters are idiots.
Prices will drop and firmware will be updated
