Actually I found that 'review' quite lacking - he TALKED a lot about the different battery types but he didn't TEST most of them personally, so he draws conclusions from tanglible sources.

He also didn't take into consideration evnironment impact - he talked about buying 400 Alkaline AA's cheaply but those 400 AAs thrown away after use will cause a LOT more enviroment impact than a set of rechargbles.

In this day and age, we really should be more concious in our decisions in purchases.

Personally I use Eneloop as the main source and AA Lithiums as back ups.

The Eneloops really are very good indeed and lasts and lasts in the K-x, and if they ever do run out (I run 2 batches of 4, it is very unlikely I won;t be able to recharge ebtween rotations), the AA Lithiums jump in and take over, they are SO light and have an amazing shelf life so perfect for back ups.
battizer battery charger. It claims that it can charge the Alkaline battery. Cnet says it is only to 5 times.
Thats is no good review at all.
It is even not a review at all.

He's talking about old types, the new technologies (which are more than 6 years old) he ''should look into it"

And any tests and comparisons are missing
yeah they just came out with new eneloops with high capacities...the AA battery issue is old old news
I don't know wether the higher capacity is interesting for a camera, because the monthly loss is higher, as with the normal eneloops.

But I think it is very interesting for any flash, because of more flashes per set and a faster charging times, because of the lower inner resistance.
I was trying to search for some AAA rechargable battery this evening, and guess what I stuble upon...
LiFePO4 AA battery! http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=9278817402
Although I have switched over to sony , but I am still very excited about the new type of AA battery!
It is strange that it said it is a HK brand while we never found this type of AA battery in HK!
(According to the taobao descrption, people has been using it in China since 2009!
