Updated firmware with this new useful feature will be available for the NEX-3/5 also and can be downloaded from Sony's e-support site on 20th June.

An intersting concept and achivable by other manufacturers in software.

I hope there is an option to turn it off tho LOL.

I guess it could be disabled if wished, just like the highlight clipping warning in most camera.

this feature sounds good. I hope pentax sees this and add it to the K-5, K-r, ... firmware.
