New DFA 100 Macro WR On Sales Now

At Canadian dollar $800, or just US$ 7xx. Shipment is to be followed soon..

So, it is now available, shortly after it has been announced - The current strategy taken by Hoya, no more roadmap and no more leaked rumours. There are only quick surprises and sudden attacks! By doing so, possibly they would be able to sell more and dearer too before the buyers' (initial) impulsion dies down.. Clever marketing! (But let's see if they can catch up with the Christmas delivery anyway.)

The no rumor thing, rise a question: Are HOYA/PENTAX are very careful of leakage or nobody care about them? hehee

The Kx thing does work for sure. It surprised beginner DSLR market. $550 with kit, $650 with 55-200mm, unbeatable value.

I'm a little surprised that a WR macro lens would be considered a priority item for Pentax. I do a fair amount of macro work, but I don't believe I would have benefited from a WR macro lens over the past several years. Who shoots macro in the rain???
