New 60D Original Samples at Steve's Digicams - Very SHARP!

Much sharper than those from the K-5 directly. The colours reproduced are not bad neither. I hope the 60D was a Pentax camera regarding the IQ (in-camera capability at least)! But it wasn't, of course! :-(

Buy the 60D, then stick a Pentax logo on it :). Simple. You get the IQ, and the brand.

You can user you Pentax lenses on your 5D(?) anyway. So just buy the 60D and be happy.

Rice, you tend to avoid answering my questions. please answer just this one, the one everybody wants you to answer.

if you're so happy with Canon, what's stopping you from switching? is tarnishing Pentax's brand reputation more important to you than finally getting IQ that meets your standards?

Anyone with eyes can see that the sharpness comparison between these cameras is a wash, and anyways, is much more dependent on the lens then the camera.

We own a 60d. It's no sharper than any of our other cameras unless we put a sharper lens on the front.

lol ... How did you compare these "Much sharper" samples with k-5's? Till today there is no review of k-5 at Steve's Digicams, nor samples?!

According to ColorFoto, the K-5 beats the Nikon D7000 and Canon 60D (and more). So again, now that you have helped Pentax to become top of the class, can you now please switch to helping Canon?

RiceHigh, buy the Canon and get off the bus. Obviously you prefer the Canon colours over either Nikon or Pentax. In fact how come you never write about anything Nikon anyway? You are the most negative person I have every come across. You are never balanced in your opinions and your Canon Fanboy comments are a joke.
