Yet once again, this has been uploaded at the (European) Pentax Network!
Get the new firmware at: Explorer\IS Products\Digital SLR\K-r\Software-Updates. As usual, there are Mac or Windows executables for downloading.
The change(s) in this new firmware version are not told, but it can be seen that from the timestamp of the binary (.BIN) file that the firmware is yet hot baked~ :-)
Last but not least, this "Pentax Network" website is really worth to register! The registration process is quick and easy. The contents (images, documents, software updates etc.) in it are mostly interesting. Go have a look! :-D

I have one suggestion to Pentax but I don't the best way to let them improve the website. I saw that (for example for Firmware) they mentioned only Windows and Macintosh but nothing related to Linux ( a lot of my friend are using Pentax and Linux) even if the file firmware for Macintosh is also suitable for the use in Linux. Why don't write also Linux in the website.
I don't want to ask special version of Pentax digital camera utility4 for linux ( even if maybe is easy considering how close Linus and Macintosh are) but simply write when something is also Linux compatible.
There are a lot of Linux user in the world, and a lot of them choose HP for devices because Linux is supported, maybe the support of Linix (even partial) can let Linux users to prefer Pentax as camera. I think this can be good market strategy for a "not big" l company like Pentax.
All the linux user will be grateful to this.
Can you do something to suggest Pentax Hoya to consider the possibility to move in this direction?

It updates the focus on K-R and K-5.Can anybody confirm if they see any improvement in autofocusing problem?..Will release this update also for K-x ? Something like Secret Release of K-x firmware version 1.02 :P
