K-7 Officially Discontinued (Not So for the K-x..)

http://www.pentax.jp/japan/imaging/digital/slr/others.html

As we all have known, the K-7 has been replaced by the K-5..

But it is a bit to my surprise that the K-x has not yet officially been discontinued yet. Maybe it is still selling well! Or, reversely, there are just too many old K-x stocks sitting there so that Pentax dare not to formally announce its discontinuation~! ;-D

K-5 much better than K-7. That's why the last one has been discontinued - it sales have fallen. K-x is not worse than K-r, but price is on K-x side.
Maybe they want to continue with 3 classes, with the K-r at the middle. The K-x is not outdated anyway...
K-7 is still on sale too.

You can still buy brand new K20D and K-m, as long as stock lasts and you are yet able to find one.
Eventually, i think/hope they will release a successor to k200d for those who want to upgrade from a K-x, but find K-5 too expensive
My k7 is still like new....
Way to go Pentax!!! :D :D :D
I'm going to suggest this seminal concept to Ford.
I'm sick of changing my car every year and every year its the same old Model T.
I mean, after 100 years its time for a change.
Good work Pentax.
