Wheater sealing is not a invention from Pentax. In fact all other camera manufacturers provide wheater sealing, too.

"wheater" sealing does keep the wheat dust out of cameras, but is not so good protecting your camera against rain!

Is a test environment available that shows customers how efficient weather sealing is against dust, moisture, sand or rain by testing the implementation of different camera manufacturers?

More important than weather sealing is brain sealing against nonsense posted in forums and threads like this.
No one ever said WR is invented by Pentax. But that it is made more popular for consumer market because of Pentax, well that *IS* true.
