Pentax FF is Planned to be Launched in October, Priced at 2,000 Euros

See what Pentaxeros reports:

http://www.tiendapentaxeros.com/fotografia/pentax-full-frame-cuerpo-p-2244.html

Whom I consider is a reliable source as they are close to the official Pentax.

Well, I believe that the last lump of plastic thing is just to keep commercial secrets by the RP whilst letting interested users to know something is really coming soon, the testing prototype or even the beta machine should be more than that, in view of the launching date which is so close.

I am realy wondering if there will be some improvement (read total change) in the wireless flash control, onepoint that keep today Pentax away from professional standards.

The specs still remain mysterious and covered. For €2000 you could expect anything. I am not going to preorder one. "First show me the merchandise!"
it could be top end even if priced 1.300 Euros. I don't buy this more money more features thing. Take a look at the smartphone market. You can buy a phone for around 800-1000 Euro that is lightyears behind others when it comes to features like NFC etc.
If you have a good look around you can have exact the same features for 10-15% of the price.
If you buy yourself into photography you will have to live with the lie. But that doesn't mean that i gotta have to believe this sh... or run around with the industry beloved "price-tag-angst"

Since I don't have legacy k-mount lens, I will wait until pentax provide 2nd tier lenses. 16-35mm F4 like Canon, 24-105mm is already in the roadmap, and 70-300mm F4-5.6 like Canon. I simply can't afford the new D FA lenses, even the FA limited are too expensive for me.
May be they will announce 2 camera's? Nummer one nice to have with lower specs and number two with higher specs? I can imagine, because the development costs are already spended/made and they can bet on two horses and see how market will react.

This is all rumor and will be proved wrong.

From PF:
"Actually, the price rumored is rather disappointingly low."
"My thought exactly! That doesn't sound like a top-end FF camera."

Unbelievable. The price is disappointingly high for me BTW. Speak up people, or will they'll release another 645D priced camera.

I want a top-end camera, but not an $8000 15fps monster! It can be top-end at $2000.00.

As a loyal Pentax user, i am just thankful to Ricoh to produce a FF camera. I just wish they can give me a camera body priced at around USD 2000. The only feature I ask for is simply what it means to be: A full frame sensor! Whatever else is accepted by me. This because earlier I have requested this.

$2800+ is 2008 FF pricing. The sensor is no longer so expensive.

Pentaxeros is doing a great disservice to Pentax community. Stop with idle speculation, because, obviously, many think that for 2000 monetary units, be it dollars of euros, one cannot a serious enough DSLR.
Something like new D610 or likes, but something in the D810 class. Which, of course, everyone expects.
They are so irresponsible. Little brats, that only want more clicks to their pity websites as they impose themselves as "oracles about future".

Just ignore them, and leave Pentax deliver the machine. If it is anything like K-3, it will not disappoint and people will get plenty for money.
