Pentax Q7 Brief Hands-on at PF

I think the only useful information that is provided is the following:-

"The Pentax 03, 04, and 05 lenses do not support the Q7's larger sensor.  These lenses will automatically be used in a crop mode on the Q7.  With adapted DSLR lenses, the crop factor has changed to 4.5x, down from 5.6x."

OMG!! The TOY lenses are cropped!!!

Negative Nancy much Rice? I think there are bigger downsides to the q7 like increased distortion, but that's nothing some good lens profiles can't fix. If you ask me, this makes the Q even more attractive.

So one of the most enticing prospects of this bigger-sensor version of the Q - that of the fisheye lens now offering proper 180-degree view, a unique thing among truly compact cameras - turns out to be an unattainable mirage.

The 03 fisheye lens is about 170 degrees on Q7, still not 180.
