They updated OUR flashes?! HOW DARE THEY?! Damn Ricoh...
RiceHigh amuses me! he is such a hater nowadays!
and yes 5D mk3 is an update of mk2. NOT
deal with it there is no meaning in name changes. BMW 3 and 5 will always be 3 and 5 but different generations. It's more practical for god's sake
I guess there'd be no complaints if they were named 361 and 541? :P

Not compatible with my K7 Grrrr!
Check out the prices! "Respectively, they will be sold for $629.95 and $429.95."
I'd be surprised if Pentax is around in 4/5 years

I have a K-5 & a K-5s Pentax makes little or no improvement and the change amazes some people, USB-3.1 from USB-3.0 is a much bigger improvement than I'm asking of Ricoh. If I have to change brands to get a FF DSLR (taking the advice that Pentax is just Ricoh's bitch) I'll consider Samsung, who has a better chance of providing quality photo equipment. While we're at it lets compare The Metz flash with the touch-screen!
No matter what... at least it shows that the new flash was no longer a vapourware. Ricoh might not like to leak information or give fans teasers, but at least they delivered albeit it might be perceived as being late. I have actually regained some confidence with the brand.
Weather sealed flash is what I was waiting for. Great job!
Can anyone tell me if these flashes auto zoom the flash head in Auto mode ? The original one is only manual zoom in Auto and Auto Zoom on P-TTL
