5 Million Visits to My Blog Today! :-D

As counted by the StatCounter, this milestone has been reached today for the total number of unique visits to my this Blog with their algorithms. Well, Google has counted even more hits which the 5M number was achieved quite some time ago, owing to the fact that Google has less ability to filter out repeated visits by the same visitor within a certain short period of time.

Thank you for your continuous reading and support (for those who really support me from time to time)! :-) Happy or unhappy reading forever! ;-D

I want a Pentax camera, not a Ricoh! ;-)
I thank You too!

By the way, did this 5th mil visitor get any present?

Actually, I have no idea who he or she is! :-)
It was me. Now send me all of your limiteds! :P
It is the only active, honest Pentax specific blog/forum that currently exists. I am surprised that there are 5 mill folks still interested in Pentax, go figure?

It is not a "Pentax specific blog" it's a brand bashing blog and trolling is the only reason it exists for.

Hardly. Pentax created the K-mount DSLR because of lens compatibility and the large number of existing film users with full frame lenses. They did not start from scratch. The users have been waiting for full frame for a long time. The mount is full frame. It deserves full coverage.

They did the same thing with the 645D. It was released without many new lenses because there were so many existing 645D lenses out there. They put out a crop sensor solution that 645D users will and are starting to get annoyed with. They deserve full coverage (not a crop sensor) too and the D800 is eating their lunch.

The complaining (not bashing) will disappear overnight when they release full coverage sensors for their mounts. We haven't seen that, just endless updates to APS-C and 1/1.7" compacts.
Are you serious? Whining will be here whatever Pentax releases - it was here many years ago when nobody thought about full frame... Rice was constantly "complaining" on all forums he could (until he was permanently banned). It was never about Pentax - it was about him and his personal issues.

I almost pre-ordered the Canon 5-D when it was new and the Kodak DSLRs where on the way out but I waited for Pentax to come out with a DSLR I wanted, to do so in silence runs a parallel to "If a tree falls in the woods and nobody hears it does it make a sound" this post should be to thank Rice, who gives the opertunity to voice our opinion, pro and con.

Thank you, dear RiceHigh, for your interesting, thoughtful and pithy blog.
Good place for discussing and sharing news.
Good luck for you and thanks.
thank you again for allowing us to join in on some fun rumours, thoughtful discussionand here and there as well as occasionally a hand full of good old controversy around all the gear with the great P in its' name!
And a special thanks to not require any of that ANTI-social media crap that seems to suck us all in everywhere else!

Happy whining and chiming
If it's not on Rice's blog, its not worth mentioning.
But sometimes if it's not worth mentioning, is also here.
Maybe that's why it's always worthwhile to read this website.
Congratulations Rice.
Strong opinions, strong blog.
