No doubt, PENTAX K3II is a beast of a camera. It defeats E-M5 and D810 and comes close to 645Z. Next steps for PENTAX are (1) FF with Pixel Shift Resolution, it will defeat 5DS R and (2) Pixel Shift Resolution for single shot / handheld moving subjects. Well done PENTAX under the management & finance of RICOH. It was worth the wait .........

Thanks for the heads-up, ever since I saw the new Sinar I've been wanting an affordable FF-DSLR with pixel shift that enhances the dynamic range rather than the (band-aid aproch) that fixates on only low light sharpness while clinging to the (selling feature) of more pixels, evan more pixels, and still more pixels.

Very impressive. But I have no interest in a cropped sensor so I expect/hope the FF will have the function.

nice for 100% still images, but is this going to work for action?

Not even for landscape, when there is wind. :-p
Any way, with any MF or FF camera, you´ll get blured leaves. it all depends on exposure speed and wind velocity.
The problem is that motion causes artifacting and not just blur like a long exposure would.
From my understanding, it's only useful for still photography...still life kind of stuff. Nice idea, but seems more like a gimmick than a useful feature.

Not necessarily, this feature may be useful to enhance parts of a photo by blending two images in Photoshop, one normal, and one in super resolution.
It's fantastic for macro and object photography.
