thanks for this link. The review is pretty subjective but totally makes sense : from a recent opportunity I had to put hands on the 645d in a photography event held it Paris, I can only confirm. The buttons and controls of the 645d are directly borrowed from the K5/K7 but reveal as being significantly more consistent with this bigger scale: the controls of the K5/K7 are slightly cramped while everything perfectly fits for the 645d. On top of that, the camera feels surprisingly light with the 55mm lens and it is a true pleasure to manipulate (though the Leica S2 rests upon a streamlined beautiful interface, it is far from being that comfortable in the hand).
M. High, may I suggest that you have a deeper look at this camera and give us your opinion : it is clear that this is a special tool that is not for everyone (the main rationale for this being not the price) but, and from the two hours I spent with the camera, I can tell you that it is a well-thought and accomplished product. It may take me two years to finance one but this is also something that will last for at least five, if not ten, of these years. Now think about people who got a K7 six months ago and hear about the improvements (according to dxomark and many others) of the sensor... By the end, many people keep their DSLR for two / three years and then "upgrade" to the new marvel (next step for Pentax may be an improved AF system) without having reached a full mastering of their previous toy: no criticisms here but the fact that some people may wish to follow another approach where, after a couple of years, your camera (with its limits that you are aware of) is a natural extension of your eyes.
