Just remind me, was that right after you've been banned on DPreview for constant trolling, whining and bashing Pentax brand? LOL

Yes Rice really did the world a "service" setting up shop here.

Let me ask you rice.... if you had simply been banned from one forum, I could understand. However, your behaviour led to bans from every major pentax forum.

Now I do not know exactly what happened (although I have read some of your posts over at PF, where you appear to be extremely thick-skulled and slow, ignoring what everyone who knows more about photography than you writes). However, I do know that if you posted the same garbage at the forums that you do here, and ignored the waves of corrections as you do here, then every camera community is better off without you.

Why do I care? Because newcomers to photography, who do not understand it fully, read your blog and are completely misled.I have read countless posts citing your garbage, and I'm tired of seeing you mislead people who do not know better.

Criticism is good, but you do not criticize. You have no solutions. You contradict yourself. You simply find negativity and reblog it. You are not creative, you are not intelligent, and you are not helpful. You are useless to the photographic community. I think 4 years is good a time as any to pack it up and stop polluting the collective conscious with your drivel.

If you don't agree with his views--don't read them, nor visit his blog.
I own 2 Pentaxes (K10,K20 love 'em) and think that he is needed to keep the fanboys honest.
I think Pentax or more likely Hoya does not listen to customers as far as lens issues and cameras are concerned. The new K5 looks good and may be a change in their usual way of doing things. But I will wait for more reviews, tests, and criticisms to make up my mind.
well, I can confess that I have bookmarked this blog, and 65% out of 100% I agree with Rice criticism. good luck in the future, and if you'll bring interesting information, I will keep returning here.
thanks for this blog and I understand that it takes quite a bit of time to write all this stuff, so, good luck in doing so.

peace man! :)

funny. Rice you totally ignore the postive and only react to the negative when it comes to Pentax. but when it comes to *you* you do the opposite. you ignore the negative and only respond to the positive! is there any clearer proof of your hypocrisy?

the last thing this blog is about is Pentax. it has only ever been about RiceHigh.

I will be rude so long as Rice continues to avoid factual evidence. This blog resembles a smear campaign, not a collection of inconvienient truths. I do not believe the Pentax brand is anywhere near perfect... but these criticisms are not brought up here. Instead, Rice hand-picks anecdotal evidence and presents it as scientific fact. The topics that Rich criticize belie either a very poor grasp of photography (which would not surprise me) or an agenda to mislead those who have a poor grasp of photography.
